I think so, I think that's as close as you can get to scoring a 10-8 without a knockdown. Although I understand if someone just scored it 10-9. If you were a judge how would you have scored it?

No. No knockdown fighter wasn't held up by the rope preventing a knock down.

I scored it 10-9 but can see the argument for 10-8.

Judges' choice. I had it 10-9.

I didn't think it was a 10-8 round. Pac landed some good shots, and then with Horn staggering around the ring whiffed time and time again. It wasn't a pillar to post beating.

10-9 round. Atlas trying to convince the world that it was a 10-8 round failed miserably. Of course Stephen A agreed, ESPN Group think at its finest.

If you don't score it x 2 it just means you don't know how to score a fight. Not only did the judges fail to score the rd correctly they failed to score the fight correctly.

Pac should have went to the body after he stunned horn bad and it would have opened up the top for the final blow. Pac has a bad problem just head hunting.

It was a 10-9 round. The round wasn't close but 10-8 is a stretch.
I can think of quite a few fights that a round was more brutal
and didn't get the benefit of a 10-8 round.

More disappointed Pac chilled, 10, 11 and 12.
Goes to show he had nothing left

I think it was worthy of a 10-8 round. Horn looked like a stunned rabbit and almost out on his feet at times, and yet he still survived everything that was thrown at him. Pacman used an awful lot of energy trying to disapatch Horn and it had an effect on performance in the following rounds. I didn't think Horn had a chance like mostly everybody else who thought the same thing pre fight. Manny was beat and some think he wasn't. Close enough fight but it was far from an outright robbery. I enjoyed this fight and wish there were more like this to watch.

I put 10-9, though I think an argument could be made. Of course, I don't think Teddy Atlas should be allowed to make the argument as he just tried to cram it down our throats that it HAS to be a 10-8. I miss the guys like Sean O'Grady who could be self-deprecating when it came to their scorecards. I think what Teddy puts down is what he thinks is 100% the case.
