GGG and Kovalev Fury never begged those past prime fighters for fights at the expense of fighting others. Neither did GGG pull a tantrum when the fight with Froch failed to materialise and they were actually in negotiations.

As for Postal he is an overrated bum, who has one decent win on his record. Any time Crawford is scrutinised his fans always bring up his name as if it actually means something. When Crawford actually steps in the ring with a credible young elite fighter, then we can discuss about him being the real deal. Him deploying this strategy to hunt after old men while claiming to be p4p does him no favours at all.

 

What expense are you talking about? Crawford kept doing what he's been doing and continued to fight the best available opposition while waiting for Pacquaio, exactly like GGG did while he was hoping to get a shot at Froch, Cotto and others. What 140 pounder Crawford missed on just to get a fight with Pac? Both Postol and Diaz were consensus top5 jr WWs, and Indongo is a unified champion. And none of Bud's dictators thought Postol was, everyone considered it a good fight which it was.

Like I Said, Spence just won his title. He was a prospect until a month or so ago. Literally noone would move up to fight an unproven prospect when they have the chance to become undisputed in their own division.
