Who's not ducking him?, it's just two fighters everyone is talking about, Margarito and Cotto. Who is the official #1 fighter and champion of the division?, Floyd and what is the best fight at that weight right now?, it's Cotto BY FAR. Did team Cotto contact Floyd?, the answer is no. He's the champion, if you want him you go for him, he's not going to run after anyone for nothing, you need him, call him, that simple. As far as Margarito being "ducked" the situation there is totally different, the time when Margarito wanted a fight, Floyd fought the true undisputed champion in Baldomir, you think if Margarito was the undisputed champion Floyd would've been inactive for a year?, doesn't make sense. If Margarito is a TRUE welterweight and whatever then why isn't he the undisputed champion?, I mean he has been in that division for years right?
Then after the Baldomir fight Margarito gets ditched and EVERYONE agreed to it because EVERYONE(the PPV numbers are enough proof) wanted a DLH fight instead, which was signed.

Yeah but there are also stuff that happens, this isn't WWE where you ask for a match and the wrestler runs off his locker room all the way down to the crowd and into the ring. How old are you?, 10?, you don't know that this sport is also a business with negotiations required from both teams..etc to set a fight?
If you think great movement is considered running then I'm not surprised you probably think it's a just a microphone call out and the fight is set the next weekend on Smackdown TV. It's NOT what he wanted only as well, Floyd sent his team to communicate with those guys about setting up a fight and was turned down, he didn't yell behind a microphone about it and I can't be surprised you don't know about it because from the looks of things you only know if a fighter yells behind a microphone, WWE style.

I think a lot of people are lacking a bit patience. I think sooner or later a fight between Cotto and Floyd will happen. (Then again I'm not the sharpest guy around).

I'm not a believer that Cotto or Margo need to show up outside Floyd's house with presents to discuss potential matchups. Cotto has expressed his interest many times, and Margo nearly had to stalk Mayweather to ask for the match.

Mayweather should want them as bad as they want him, simply stated. And he doesn't. The decadence of how people are called out, who says what, means little to me.

Yeah I know it will and when Cotto is stretched out on the canvas they'll say Cotto is a natural 140lber, believe it or not. :good

It might mean little to you bit in boxing it means everything, if a fighter wants it he should send his team to get it done the way it's done, did he do that?, the answer is NO. Why?, ask Bob Arum.
What they say behind microphones and whatever interest they have means nothing to me either. It's easier said than applied pal. If you want the undisputed champion and title you run after it, the champion won't come to you.

Yeah, look how well that worked for Margarito!

I'll save you the time, here's your response:

Scar: "..but Margarito had nothing to offer"!

Margo did have nothing to offer. Also, Arum refused to give more money for bigger challenges.

His resume at 130-135 is just good, it's not great by any means.

WHy are you including his resume @ 130 with 135? They ARE Seperate divisions, one of which he cleaned out. His tenure @ 135 was brief, but at least he beat the Champ.
