Not only that, if Wlad decides to retire, then Hearns has him fighting 36 year old euro bum Pulev. If Hearn wants to keep threatening the senior citizens of boxing, why not give Ortiz his shot. He is a mandatory also and he has been waiting longer than anybody. I would much rather see that fight if I can't see the Wilder fight.

I appreciate your willingness to engage in a discussion, truly.

Unification trumps mandatories according to all the organizational rules -- Whyte is not a mandatory nor a unification, so he can't jump ahead of Stiverne per the WBC prez. (If he's willing to take step-aside money to do so, which he says he isn't, it could be arranged, but given that a hypothetical Wilder-Whyte winner according to the promoter would face AJ next, there's no chance he's likely to sit on the sidelines for another year or longer waiting ... but until such an agreement is reached, it's a moot point.)

So me citing that for Wilder against Whyte is NOT the same as citing it for a unification with Parker (who could have made a Wilder match when Hughie pulled out, or when Hughie announced he's fighting in July -- Wilder's camp was proposing a July or August date with Parker) or AJ (who has no fight right now -- he could make Pulev wait for a unification and give Wlad a wad of money with a promise to fight the AJ-Wilder winner if he chooses to not retire). Either is at least theoretically doable and the alphabets (the WBC especially) have indicated that they'll move mandatories aside to make these things happen. (A bucket of money sent to WB-whatever headquarters would probably help make it so very easily.)

    As for your top 10:

T-Fury - not currently licensed, weighs about 400 pounds, Twitter-weight champion of the world but no indication that he'll ever actually fight again, or at least in the foreseeable future, so not worth discussing (I mean, at this point who would sign a contract to fight Fury and put themselves out of commission for the expected postponements and withdrawals and failed drug tests and whatnot?)

Joshua - certainly would be a great thing to see him and Wilder fight, hopefully it can actually happen next year

Wlad - he fights Joshua or he retires, not a real possibility for Wilder

Ortiz - Would love to see it, but I think all the champs have him on the high-risk, low-money-reward list -- plus every time I turn around he seems to be aiming for a different title; WBA one minute, WBO the next, etc. -- seems to have some management/promoter issues at the moment as he went from very active to radioactive

Parker - to me it's clear Wilder wants to fight him and his team tried to make this

Pulev - gets AJ either next or after Wlad with step-aside money, so I don't think he's inclined to fight Wilder (for, honestly, certainly less money)

H-Fury - fights a bum to be named later this weekend or next and then apparently he'll pull out of the Parker fight in late August or early September

Whyte/Chisora winner - I thought Chisora pulled out of this fight

Bellew/Haye winner - Bellew won, of course, and is out until the fall I think recovering from injury; would love to see Wilder vs. the British Rocky; vs. Broken Haye, I'm less enthused

I addressed these thru the prism of their promise/possibility of landing on Wilder's dance card, obviously.

I would like to see Wilder vs. Ortiz if he can't get a unification, obviously, but Ortiz has some stuff to get in order I think. He was supposed to fight in April in Brooklyn on a DiBella card and pulled out citing some sort of injury, but I'm told there's some skepticism about the real reason and he hasn't lined up anything since as far as I'm aware. Odd to say the least.

What we're going to get, sadly, is Stiverne. Povetkin could have taken care of that but he was mainlining PEDs and blew it. So the WBC made the absolute worst decision it could make and made him mandatory in a fight no one wants to see rather than making him fight Ortiz or Takem or whoever for the mandatory spot. And we're the ones who suffer.

What I've been told about Wilder is that he will always be a pos who has a penchant towards fighting bums and vulnerable women

Seems to me that Wilder is afraid to lose that career payday against AJ

    Maybe you could answer this:

Tell me how long Wilder has been pro & how many fights he's had? Then tell me how many GENUINE top 5 HWs he has fought? Then ask yourself why the **** am i a fan of this giant spunk trumpet?

I think he has to pause and call Mama Blizzy to ask which of DEM HANDS is top 10 quality.
There are a few times when he shows real interest in discussing the sport but most of the time he just attacks opposing views
    He can eat a bag of ****** d/CKs and drink p :pipi:eatingburger

For the top 10 the ring is generally the best gauge. Give or take..

So taking that into account could you tell me how long Wilder has been pro & how many fights he's had? Then tell me how many GENUINE top 5 or even top 10 Ring HWs he has fought?

This will illuminate the reality of Wilder.
