Perhaps Canelo is rated or perhaps he's as good as his hype suggests.

Either way Golovkin will have continued his dominance over a division.

Loma unifying LW will be good for him though, just not enough to usurp Golovkin imo.

Lomachenko is the pound for pound best boxer in the world. He's the guy anyone from super bantamweight to light welterweight has to beat if they want to be considered number one pound for pound.

Dominance against B- C+ fighters is impressive, but not P4P no.1 impressive. We mustn't run away from who the opponents actually are by saying they're 'Top 10 ranked opponents' or some BS.

Loma has been breaking records. Why are people not expecting this of Zhou Shiming who has a shout of being a greater amateur than Lomachenko? Golovkin was busy being rocked by Amari at Loma's stage.

If he fights and beats 2/3 Mikey, Linares or Easter at 135
    I'd consider him p4p #1. He's already top at 130.
If Santa Cruz or Frampton would move up and fight him
that would sijply solidify his ranking as he already beat
the legit best FW's in Russell and Walters (albeit above Walters
championship weight), so is the best established at that weight as well.

That would then be him being the apex predator in 3 divisions.

I love that quote. Linares would be a great win. Garcia too. Hopefully we may see them but I'm not holding my breath..

Not even sure Garcia gets past the porn star.

All are within his realm, and I consider everyone in
a division near him as beatable by Loma.

Garcia's in a much harder fight than damn near everyone on here
is willing to admit but he's more of a professional than Broner.
I think the smart money is him winning a tougher than
    planned decision.

Can't stand Broner but style wise he's a very intriguing opponent here. It's at 140 isn't it? Again this could play into Broners hands.

I rate people on how good they are. Resume is important but not as much as how they look Vs world class opposition imo.

Golovkin seems nigh unbeatable right now. The only man he's really failed to face is Lara and after the Angulo fight you'd struggle picking Lara over Golovkin.

For me he's the best fighter today, I think he'll prove it against Canelo.

If Loma tools Garcia and Linares he'll have a good shout himself, but I wouldn't put him above GGG, Ward or Crawford.

Beat Garcia and Crawford but honestly he could get to P4P #1 if he beats Garcia who I have in my Top 10 P4P depending on what Ward and PBF do.

it's at 140, and whether people like to admit it or not,
Broner was a physical specimen against mostly everyone
he held a size advantage over.

Jacobs had an even fight with Golovkin and Canelo is a stylistic threat and either way, not exactly ATG in terms of H2H ability - everyone is expecting more of Loma. Golovkin is brilliant, I agree on that certainly, he doesn't even look as fresh anymore. Loma at 135 = Current Crawford at 154 in terms of size for the weight class.

As I said, I expect him to prove he's the best against Canelo.

Disagree completely. Crawford started at LW and is now at LWW. Loma started at FW and is now at SFW.

LW is to Loma what WW is to Crawford.
