Seeds are out, the seeded fighters will choose tomorrow who they want to fight in the first round from the unseeded fighters staring off with 1st seed George Groves. It's very likely that one of Groves/Smith/Eubank will pick Cox for the 1st round, meaning if the fighters are succesful we will likely see domestic clashes at every round in the tournament. Very exciting.

    Seeded pool:
    1. George Groves
    2. Callum Smith
    3. Eubank/Abraham winner
    4. Jurgen Braehmer

    Unseeded pool:
    Anvi Yildrim
    Rob Brant
    Jamie Cox
    Erik Skoglund

    Cruisers:

Staring off with 1st seed Oleksandr Usyk

    Seeded pool:
    1. Oleksandr Usyk
    2. Murat Gassiev
    3. Maris Bredis
    4. Yunier Dorticos

    Unseeded pool:
    Mike Perez
    Marco Huck
    Wlodarczyk
    Kudryashov

If eubank beats abraham. Callum smiths done well to be seeded number 2. Hes not beat anybody. He should actually be 4th seeded.

Also didnt realise eubank was even in it. Great signing. Will be interesting to see how he gets on if he can get past abraham that is.

looking good so far, some great potential fights and an undisputed cruiser weight world champion.

If the first round fights are picked tomorrow, who is picking out of Abraham/Eubank Jr? I thought the top seeds pick their first round opponents.

In the Cruisers don't think anyone will want to pick Mike Perez as he could win that. Best time to get him is on first round when rusty as if he gets through that round could take a lot of stopping

I think Groves will win it, should be too good technically for Eubank jr and I can't back Callum Smith when he has Tesco in the corner.

    Groves v Brant
    Smith v Yildrim
    Eubank v Cox
    Braehmer v Skoglund

Anyone know why Ramirez didn't join the SMW?

I know Joe isn't popular on here, but his relationship with Callum seems to be very good. Sometimes trainers and fighters fit together so well (and sometimes despite the mutual qualities not so well) and I think that's the case with them.

I like Groves a lot but I think Callum will stop everybody he faces in this tournament.

I would be VERY surprised if Smith picks Yildrim as his opponent, I feel he is the dark horse for the tournament. He dominated and completely beat up DeGale in sparring 2 weeks before the Jack fight and knocked his teeth out.

Also Brant is underated as well, the guy was Jacobs sparring partner for the GGG fight and apparently it was pretty even. The guy is also part of the same team as Charlo/Spence so holds good company there. He will have no problem adjusting to 168lbs as he was an amateur champion at 178lbs.

I feel both those fighters are considerably better than Cox Skoglund and probably Braehmer as well who looked shot to pieces vs Cleverly.

What happens with Eubank/Abraham picking their fight? Have they already agreed a list of opponents together?

No idea but he's ******ed for not. What is he gonna do in the meantime other than to just wait and hope GGG moves up?

Remember though, given injuries there is a strong chance we could see a pull-out so it wouldn't shock me if someone like Ramirez or a fully fit Degale is drafted in late.
