No. Again I personally have no problem with the fight as Bellew has a belt and the others are tied up. A perfect scenario would for Ward to enter the cruiserweight tournament but lets be honest Ward has to go to the UK for RocNation to actually make some money off Ward as we know Ward is as popular as a woman with chlamydia.
You know what else is tiresome? You quoting me and following me around all day. That is tiresome. You know what else? Your blatant fanboyish ways and the nonsense you post. Not just your M.O. either. Everything you post is just fanboyish nonsense.
Good luck convincing Ward that he can beat Stevenson, Betterbeast and Gvoz, look at all the trouble he had with Kovalev, needed judges in their first fight and a biased referee in their second fight to get the win, I doubt he wants that trouble anymore as his luck could run out.
Well I'm the one calling for him to be fighting one of the top 3, you are the one saying Bellew is where the money is so you tell me....
I have much better things to be doing than following an alt around all day. But, again I'm not the one talking about a middleweight in threads about heavyweights, cruiserweight's, flyweights etc.
How so? Ward is coming off the back of two wins against the "Killer" that is Kovalev, stamping his authority as the number 1 in the LHW division since moving up. Bellew has looked and faired much better since moving up to CW where he's no longer killing himself to make weight. Holds the WBC strap. Ward moves up and pushes to become a 3 weight world champion against a bigger / stronger guy in a fight that sells. Makes sense.
Bellew hits harder than Kovalev now. He didn't when he was at 175. That's not surprising. The wide gap between 175 and 200 means larger-framed fighters often boil down to make 175, sacrificing strength and power in the process. When they can't do that anymore, they move to Cruiser, where they often hit harder vs 200 lb opponents than they did vs 175 opposition because they're full strength. Recent examples: Bellew, Adamek, Vlasov
Look at all the Wardos crawling in at speed like roaches to take exception to my comment which correctly calls out exactly what this fight is. A farce Ward could be fighting Stevenson for unification , or defend against Beterbiev in a division he is yet to clear out. Instead he chooses the cash out option by choosing to fight one of the weakest cruiserweights in that division.
This is mostly true. Also the risk matches the reward, Bellew doesn't pose nearly as much of a threat of those 3 while being a much bigger fight. I don't blame Ward at all for going this route.
If Ward legitimately wants to move to cruiserweight this is a great first fight. All the top level fighters are tied up for 9 months do why not Bellew. Only other option is Lebedev. If it is only a money grab that is lame but still a decent challenge.
He is coming off two dodging wins, lets get that right. The first a loss and the second really should be a DQ or void. I agree Bellew is better at CW however he does not have the skills or power to trouble Ward. This is simply a mismatch and I can promise you Ward will cruise to a UD without breaking a sweat.
