Surely the Jocks have seen through Ricky Burns after skipping the night away when losing every round to Indongo.

Taylor should fight another live opponent then crack on to World Level.

At last the Jocks have another fighter worth watching.

'Skippy' was hoping to cash out in Nebraska against Crawford. Seriously underestimated Indongo.

Ricky is a shot fighter, has been for a while now. This would be a dreadful matchup for him at this stage.

Crolla will also beat him but he may take less damage and more money as it's a matchroom show. Cash out with the Crolla fight I think.

It was sad to see Josh call Ricky Burns out at ringside after his tremendous victory over Ohara Davies. But then that's boxing and Ricky should have retired by now. He took a huge financial hit when he moved to Matchroom for reasons well known with the result he's been forced to fight on past the point at which he should be.

Burns has had his time and Josh Taylor's time has come. He's young, hungry, and brings to the table a world class package of technical ability, speed, agility and superb ring craft. The range of shots he has, the in-fighting skills for such a tall fighter, the power, time and distance, he's got it all. A couple more fights, inc perhaps a European title, then the world is his for the taking.

Burns will be competetive. Needs to box smarter than he has since probably the mitchell fight. Taylor good but od played into his hands a wee bit. Ricky needs to make sure he doesnt hook with taylor...box smart. Tight fight for me. Taylor isnt quite indongo...yet anyway.

Burns should only take the fight if there's alot of money coming his way, which I can't imagine there being.

As for the fight as everyone has said Taylor chops down Ricky at this moment in time, can't see Burns winning any rounds tbh.

On a side note the wee fella was showing his true colours again, what a total bellend. Hogging tge centre of attention, talking over people and it seems he's been doing to Burns what he was doing to Quigg....total class that man.

If fight happens I fear Ricky would get badly hurt, even in his pomp he wouldn't have best Josh Taylor at LWW. Ricky was gifted a world title at the weight when in reality he's not even in top 6 in division in the UK ! Tony Sims believes Ohara is best 140ib fighter in his gym says it all if true. Ricky's main attributes were his jab, strength and toughness and they are all on decline and he's never been a genuine 140ib fighter, that's not being disrespectful just honest.
