Briedis vs Perez will be in the UK, I think. Not sure about Gassiev vs Wlod in the US, might end up in Poland

Props to the WBSS for being up-front about the one "forced" QF, and it seems clear that the other picks were genuine and not scripted, the weaker fighters were taken first in general.

Couldn't Gassiev-Wlod be a PBC show in the US?

I think that is quite likely to happen, however I do think there's also some chance it ends up elsewhere, e.g. in Poland.

If HBO is exclusive with Usyk, hopefully they show all the CW fights not just his. I think we can expect at least one quarter final being in the U.S.. I does seem ligical that Bredis/Pere is destined for the U.K. and Dorticos/Kudryashov Russia.

Nope. Apparently he applied, and he sure is more deserving than Cox and Skoglund.

I thought the draft was great

    My 3 highlights

Groves picks Cox, said they have sparred tons and he's a bum, what a boss!!!

Eubank picks Yildirim, who in their right mind picks Yildirim, he's the type of bloke you pretend doesn't exist and you only fight if you have too, I'll tell you who picks him a boss!!!

Kapn Huck thinks Usyk is a ***** and he's going to punch that chin. Kapn Huck is a boss!!!

I am absolutely pumped about the cruiser tournament. Ive never been a fan of cruiser n dont follow it but ut seems like they got almost every major fighter in the division in it (wish lebedev was in it tho) and just the sheer quality of eventual top matchups and seeing gow the dust clears has sparked my interest. Awesome stuff.

I was surprised also by Sr's pick. Maybe he thinks Yidirim is just a brawler and he'll be easier to outbox. Brant is an unknown commodity at this point and Sr does appreciate the American school of boxing, probably he thought its easier to come up with a game strategy against the Turk than it is against the American. AA vs Yidirim could also sell big in Germany

Groves vs Cox and C. Smith vs Skoglund were obvious matchups.

If Eubank Jr wins this tournament he'll become huge in the UK and rightfully so.

    Abraham
    Yidirim
    Groves
    Smith

These would be quite some scalps for Jr and all in a row
