Middleweight prospect vs faded Light-Heavyweight former world champion.

I think Brant outpoints him but I also feel Braehmer might pull out or not be able to make the weight.

    How do you see it?

I think brant out points him, just sheer volume of punches braehmer is 38 and coming down in weight that sounds like a bad idea all round.

Braehmar is a small light heavyweight, looks tiny next to Callum Smith and Yildirim. He will make weight no bother.

Whether he's effective at the weight is another story.

Brant isn't that good and he doesn't have a good tank himself. Interesting fight, I see Braehmar having a huge advantage in Germany, in the USA Brant should have a better chance.

Close to 50/50 fight all things considered, Braehmar is a better fighter but age and weight cut are huge factors

JB is talented but very frail... He was the better fighter against Clev, but his body just couldn't hold up. Kind of like Haye against Bellew, Tyson against Williams. I struggle picturing him making SMW when he's pushing 40 and fairly frail. That said he's definitely a dark horse in this tournament, you can't count him out 100% given his pedigree.

Haven't seen much of Brant, but if he can't beat a 38 year-old, facefighter who has never fought outside of Germany and starts bleeding in the dressing room, what's the point?

    This is at 168.

Even though Brant's campaigned at middleweight so far he's fought in the amateurs at LHW, in fact he fought as high as 178lbs.

I think Brant is underrated and could do quite well in this tournament personally. Also he's a very likeable guy if you have seen his interviews.

A Middleweight vs. a Light Heavyweight at Super Middleweight, not really, Braehmer should win and not even break a sweat, Jesus Christ, Rob Brant best wins are friggin Louis Rose who was KO1 by Khytrov, and that was a debatable win and Decarlo Perez, both of whom would be footnotes on the resumes of Krasniqi, Gutknecht, Bolonti and Maccarinelli who Braehmer has wins over. Brant doesn't even deserve to be near this tournament, and the fact that he was included over Korobov nauseates me, same applies to Cox as well, but at least he's a natural SMW.

Cox is definitely NOT a natural SMW, he started his pro career at 147 and jumped straight from 154 to 168.

My only impression of him was from the draft gala, but yes! He seemed very humble and likable, that was my imidiate reaction. I wish him the best in the tournament and look forward to see what he's got.

He was Jacobs sparring partner for the GGG fight, and he's part of the same camp as Charlo/Spence so holds good company there.

Yeah you're right, I'm not an aficionado on Cox, but he has been campaigning there since he came back after his layoff, and at least he's had a few fights there.

Korobov has beaten one good fighter, Brant's beaten none.

Korobov is a better fighter, but it really should have been Ramirez.

Interesting fight given the factors for and against each fighter. If the fight is out of Germany I would Fancy Brant @ 2/1.

Mike Perez is looking great value @ 11/4
