When these two face each other on Sept. 16th, will Monroe be the highest quality opponent for BJ Saunders?

    Technically probably.

But I rate Lee and Eubank (even at the point where he boxed Saunders) as better fighters and IMO both would stop Monroe.

Monroe doesn't beat Eubank or Andy.

I actually think Monroe could beat Lee and would beat Eubank Jr.

Is it because Monroe is the goods in your opinion, or because Lee and Eubank Jr are lower tier fighters?

I think Monroe would be well up on the cards when Lee knocked him out.

Eubank. And I don't even really rate him.

You could rate him higher than a green Jr ( I wouldn't), but you can't rate him higher than Lee coming off wins over Jackson, Korobov and a draw wirh Quillin.

    Quite obviously not

What about Lee(of the Quillin and Korobov fights) vs. Eubank Jr. Lee KO for me... Eubank is defensively inept and if O'Sullivan can land flush and have him shaking in his boots, I see no reason why Lee couldn't do the same.

And honestly the form he showed against BJS as well. Even though a losing effort to recover from two knockdowns and go the distance in an extremely close fight is good form for Lee. Korobov, Quillin, Saunders version of Lee>>> Eubank Jr.

Jr is a bad stylistic match up for Lee, he would walk through everything he had an chin him imo.

Spike did make Jr blink but he wasn't rocked to his boots, he was firing back seconds later. Id argue Jr's poor balance made the damage look better than it was.

Walk through a flush Lee right hook? I beg to differ... That's probably the hardest punch in the division along with Lemeiux's left hook. Eubank Jr. would certainly cause Lee some problems, and it's very like that he would put him down once or twice... But eventually he gets caught with the right hook and sent out of there. A defensively inept fighter isn't going to avoid Lee's signature punch... No way.

I'm so not in the mood to try to decode what angle Isal is trying to use today in his latest effort to indirectly bash GGG.

Of course not. That would be Lee.

Tbf I do think a hook will be the punch that is most likely to hurt CEJ.

That's why I think he has a great chance of beating Groves, his most lethal punch is his straight right hand, take that away and he's going to have a hard night.

I suppose Lee does hit a fair bit harder than Spike too but Chavez Jr managed to walk through a much fresher Lee and Eubank Jr is much harder to hit flush than JCC jr

IDK man... Chavez Jr. walks forward constantly with a high guard so he's not going to get caught flush with hooks as much as Eubank Jr. who leaves his chin out constantly. I think Lee would have had a great chance at landing the right hook and knocking him out.
