a lot of those rounds were CLOSE. Canelo missed a lot but floyd didn't land anything except a few counter rights. Canelo was walking him down and doing all the damage. It was a close fight.
Watch a real boxing match.... I could only watch a fight like that hammered, same with any Floyd match of the last 7-8 years. Completely unwatachable... Most sparring sessions are more entertaining.
Haven't watched it since it happened but a draw seems unreasonable from what I remember. In fact i believe the judge that had it a draw practically resigned due to the outrage over such a ridiculous score. But will be interesting to rewatch.
Canelo did really well, pay attention to the body work, especially when Floyd was in the shoulder roll. Canelo found a home for those jabs to the body in between the gloves all night. Canelo was mixing up his punches nicely, and he was causing Floyd to react over and over again to feints, it was unbelievable. Most of the rounds are very hard to score Forza, hard to pick a winner. I'm glad you finally had a chance to take a look at it. We never really seen Floyd tested like he was vs Canelo.
Golovkin is preparing a special steak sauce for when he savages Canelo in September Floyd fought a green, drained Canelo. GGG is fighting the real deal. Can't believe that people would actually watch Floyd/McG over Canelo/Golovkin.
That fight was 9-3 at worse. Wtf was anyone watching. I don't remember 5 clean shots Canelo landed that entire fight.
Dont be surprised if the judges give the fight to Canelo regardless of how bad Golovkin beats him up.
Im watching it right now. So far first two rounds are very close. I actually had Canelo edge both! Not bad first two rounds either. Very entertaining so far.
Hey, don't crap on floyd. Most defensive style boxers are not for everyone's cup of tea. But I do agree that most floyd welter weight fights are just him doing enough to win each round, lots of them by 1 or 2 clean punches that did no damage.
