Pity the fight will probably never happen, one thing I am certain of is it would be highly entertaining!

Can definitely see a Lee KO, but i just don't think it would happen.
Chavez Jr is slow, with no head movement and Lee did land a lot of leather on him and visibly shook JCC Jr up a bit, I had Lee well up on the cards at the time of the stoppage.

Because Monroe is better than people give him credit for. I don't rate Eubank Jr highly though. Lee I respect, but he can be inconsistent at times.

I think actually think he'd give Jr fits for large periods, just in terms of style. I think Lee would stop him but like someone said above Lee would probably be down on the cards at the time. Monroe is technically a very sound fighter and has fast hands. What he does lack is any kind of power and probably has it in him to quit again, which would be a problem against a non-stop fighter like Jr.

I guess I'd say Lee is still the best name, just on achievements if nothing else.

The prospect of Monroe vs BJS is so boring that the thread delved into a full fledged discussion of a different fight between two other fighters that will probably never happen by page 2.

This fight will play out with Monroe being the aggressor more than likely. I like BJS but he's beatable. Also if there was any fighter that would lose his title because of a bad day or poor camp then it's BJS.

Eubank jr would still be the best name on bjs record followed by Lee, for what its worth eubank would destroy Lee imo.

The problem with fighters like Monroe Jr is, they rarely get a proper opportunity to shine, being a career b-side fighter set up to lose to a proper A-side. All most will see is that he was KO'd by 3G. I can see Monroe jr as a spoiler type.
