    Just thought id give you guys the heads up

    This kid is the goods... Former child tearaway with convictions for stabbing and possession of class A drugs, he turned his life around aged 16 and dedicated his life to boxing, compiling an unbeaten amateur record, and is now 3-0 as a professional. A slick, defensive minded boxer but a spiteful puncher with an excellent dig.

    Highly praised in the Mayweather gym having won every spar he took part in, Davies looks destined for big things :good

    He has something but I think he needs time, his defence isn't exactly great and his feet are not good.

    I wish we could move away from the current culture of: "If you lose just once, you're a loser forever."

    But it was a bad loss admittedly...

    CupidStunt = PRINCĀ£/Adrien Sterling.

    When are people gonna realise that being praised in the Mayweather gym and supposedly looking good in sparring counts for very little.

    No chance, man. It's fine not write someone off after a loss - in fact, it's a good thing not to often. But he just isn't good, I can't believe how many thought he'd beat Taylor. He is off balance a lot, has awful footwork and his jab is pants. Looks like he might have some power but without better balance and technique he'll never be able to use it properly. I just can't see it.
