He has something but I think he needs time, his defence isn't exactly great and his feet are not good.

I still think Davies can be world champ one day. You just never know, I'll be rooting for him forsure

 

I wish we could move away from the current culture of: "If you lose just once, you're a loser forever."

When are people gonna realise that being praised in the Mayweather gym and supposedly looking good in sparring counts for very little.

 

No chance, man. It's fine not write someone off after a loss - in fact, it's a good thing not to often. But he just isn't good, I can't believe how many thought he'd beat Taylor. He is off balance a lot, has awful footwork and his jab is pants. Looks like he might have some power but without better balance and technique he'll never be able to use it properly. I just can't see it.

 

You mean like when Hearns was about 10 years old?
