    Wicked shoulders. Small chest but those wide shoulders bring that double shock power.

    Louis always had that lean athletic physique that you just knew could generate some big power. Kind of reminds of Jack Johnson in the shoulder area.

    The small chest/big shoulders look similar to Dempsey or a bigger Gerald McClellan.

    Plenty of guys had an impressive physique. Had the power that was expected to match. Not everyone does.

    Freakish physique? He looks smaller than some CWs today, just compare him with someone like Gassiev or Kudryashov.

    Maybe not as chiseled as Louis he looks bigger to me... Anyway to answer your question I'd compare Louis' physique to Dempsey's

    He has an impressive physique, but the proportions are not the same.
    Louis arms neck and shoulders look awkwardly large compared to the rest of his body.

    I don't see anything freakish about him there, he looks like an average boxer to me.
