Will Kessler-Calzaghe be an EXCITING fight or will it be highly TACTICAL?

When has Calzaghe been in a really horrible fight when he's well prepared? Never.

    His style is high action.

It has the makings of an exciting fight dude- Kessler comes to fight- he beat the crap out of Andrade full 12 rounds and Andrade never went down-
he's high action- he wants to beat Calazghe decisively
and Calzaghe will be up for this fight..- he throws a high volume of punches and flurries and is very dramatic/charismatic in the ring with his flurries/gestures.. he wasn't up for the light-hitting amateur Manfredo - and the obscure Sakio Bika.. but this is real..

This promises to be a great fight-

I wasn't so much questioning Calzaghe but more so Kessler. Do you think Kessler will be able to keep Calzaghe's pressure at bay and keep this one strictly a chess match?

    the styles will gell well.

    IMO that is pretty obvious.

look at kessler v andrade, not much spoiling, hardly saw the ref.

That's over-doing it, I think. Kessler has his moments, but he's far from " high action ". Andrade is not Calzaghe.

    nope.
kessler will have to mix it up and throw combo`s as he proved he can do when pressured in the andrade fight.

what kessler will have to adapt to is calzaghe`coming in on angles and away from his right.

kessler is high action , just in a stand up style.

kessler throws tons of punches in a fight just usually for the first 4 rounds they are predominaently jabs until it is established then he throws his combo`s of it.

calzaghe usually takes a look in the first , but wait to he lands flush before he steps in with a combo.

one thing to look out for.
calzaghe`s handspeed increases as he warms to the fight.

Forget about this fight being tactical . . . these fighters will go in there and try to decapitate each other's head off . . . believe me. :D  :yep

I think we will se both. first 6 round I see Kessler trying to jab move and box his way through, trying to pick up the pts. But when he find out Calzaghe is the better boxer, he may try and and use his strength and trade with joe, this is when Calzaghes lead will extend dramatically as he is also a better in-fighter than Kessler.

By this time Kesller already knows that JC is a better boxer. :yep So he won't try to outbox the boxer. What he can do is to back JC and force him to fight while retreating ala Pavlik did to Miranda.

Mate should be a *******..Kessler is a very large super middleweight so shouldnt have trouble putting the pressure on joe..Dont for 1 second think joe will be the matador in this one...

Im looking forward to this fight as im not yet convinced with joe nor kessler...

The fight will answer all my questions.

    ding ding...

This is Kesslers 1st big fight of this magnitude,Calzade has had the Lacy fight, Joe gets up for big fights but Lessler has a better defence than Lacy and will be a more differcult opponent as far as letting your hands go. I still like JOE by UD if he does not get old over night...winner gets Hopkins...if it is Joe
