If you are a Mayweather fan and and enjoy watching how a fighter avoids getting hit while getting in his shots, then you would have found it an interesting fight. If you hate that kind of boxing style and are not a Mayweather fan, then you could have found it boring.

Sometimes it's a culturally determined reaction. For example, African Americans admire boxers who can both attack and evade skillfully and don't mind a predominantly evasive fighter as long as he is outpointing the opponent while Mexicans perceive cowardice in such a style and don't even consider it real boxing but tag it as running instead.

This fight was boring if you're a Pacquiao fan. Pacquiao was never going to just run in on Mayweather.. And Mayweather hardly ever takes chances.. What was everyone's expectation? Pacquiao looks electric and unstoppable against Tailor Made fighters for him. When he runs into counter punchers.. He's clueless.
