i don't view a 'casual' as someone who doesnt watch every singly boxing event, its more the people who only watch Anthony Joshua fights or Benn or Eubank coz of their name and they start preaching about how theyre incredible and calling people bums just coz they haven't heard of them, that would be my interpretation of what a casual is
I would define what you said as more of what a fanboy is. A casual to me is the three million extra people who ordered May vs Pac that normally watch boxing.

i used those names not for who they are but the fact those names are popular here. so they'll only watch those popular fights and tell you they'd beat everyone just coz thats the only person they've seen and they have a big name. or the people who have only watched Haye/Bellew, AJ fights, and CEJ fights
basically people that watch sky box office fights and sky box office fights only and don't watch any of the undercard

Really?? You heard that and remember it almost 30 years ago. How old were you then?. As at the time if I recall Benn wouldn't have been that well known outside Boxing fans circles having just won the Commonwealth Belt, it would have also been before he lost to Watson when along with himself & Eubank the subsequent famed era was still about 2 years off.
