Wow, really? He's yet to be tested against anyone elite, granted, but the guy is clearly a dangerous and talented boxer. I think he'd tighten up against someone who he was remotely worried by - he has higher gears to move into for sure.

 

Beterviev is a good fighter, but someone is not allowing him to fight very often.....................prejudice against Eastern European fighters is well known, such as the Kovalev/SOB fight, just ask Tony Weeks and Bob Bennett!

shocked this thread hasnt talked about how poorly GYM michelle is to beterbiev. and the fact beterbiev is still under contract with GYM and top rank is promoting him for this fight. from my understanding GYM still is getting a percentage without doing jack**** since they have beterbievs exclusive rights. top rank is making money here too, so wonder what beterbiev walks away with his purse is said to be between 250-300k I bet he sees less than 100 of that.

GYM has been great to some canadian fighters making them a lot of MONEY, gym sucks **** for beterbiev, only thing is without the love of gym on him fighting in quebec wont be the same, he losses a homefeild advantage, I wouldnt be shocked if he never fought in canada again. hell I could see him moving if it wasnt for him learning french over english.

Hard to say he is overhyped as not many really have seen him box. I think he is a heck of a power puncher and he has shown limited defense because he has not yet been tested by anyone.
