Do you also give him props for basically calling you a twat after the fight for paying his wages no matter how hard he tries?
Guys, It over for AB...and I don't mean in the boxing sense because he's 28 and can continue on with his career. However his fights going forward will be agaisnt cab drivers or young prospects looking to make a name for themselves. No elite fighter is going to fight him because beating AB means nothing. Now onto his paydays...how can Haymon and co justify paying AB 7 figures unless it's against the elite and what paying customer (us) would pay to see AB fight an elite fighter when we all know that he will lose. Broner needs to retire more than Bradley does. He sucks!
You should ask that poster how much of Broner's income is going in his pocket to care how much hundreds of thousands Broner is getting.
It was directed to people who were booing him. I don't know if you were one of them, but if you were, I think he was just calling you a twat.
I hate him but there's no need for him to retire. He can still make some good money and get some good fights. though he will lose them all, he's going to be a gatekeeper.
This is the Mayweather Era mentality speaking through you. In reality, all Broner has to do is string together a bunch of wins, and climb back to the top. It's been done before. And he absolutely has the youth to do it.
He's kind of frustrating to watch. He had the ability to make that fight way closer. He wasn't comfortable early, timid start. He's sort of got too much arrogance to his style, where he just poses and waits, shakes his head and what not. Garcia is legit.
I think he should keep boxing. He isn't taking punishment, hes getting paydays. I think he could still improve, hes not that old. I would like to see him be very serious about boxing for 3 years. No stopping. I think he would make improvements.
No problem with any boxer losing a fight but look at AB...at the elite level, you have to improve but the most part is he doesn't care to improve and why should he? He knows that the fans will take him for what he is and buy his fights. His post fight interview tells us all we need to know about AB thinking he has to fix his flaws...he doesn't because he thinks we (the fans) will accept his ish.
Why do you think he doesn't care to improve? Because he didn't win the fight? Garcia was just a better fighter than him, that is the reality. Not saying Broner did everything right, but even if he did, he could still lose to a better man. At the end of the day, he got into great shape for the fight, put his health on the line, and put on a very competitive performance. What more can you ask for? His post fight attitude shift came right after Gray questioned his fighting spirit. If I went 12 rounds with a beater like Garcia, that would **** me off too.
Because he hasn't. Notice that everytime Mickey punches at AB, he freezes. Mickey noticed this from reviewing film. Plus AB can't fight going backward. All flaws. He been the same way relying too much on athleticism. Yes. The Can Man can beat all of the tomato cans in the world but name me 1 ELITE fighter at 140 or 147 that the Can Man can beat...I'm not even asking for two, just name one? Crawford? Garcia? who? I agree...Garcia is better because he uses the fundamentals, AB does not and doesn't care to. We don't know that...he would gave himself a better chance if he came into this fight and corrected his flaws. I agree, he got in great shape. All fighters do that...AB isn't unique in this regard. No he didn't, he was @$$! get back in the gym, fix your flaws, get discipline, stop taking advantage of the fans because you think that they will accept you whether you take your craft seriously or not. Because Gray asked a great reality based question and the Can Man got butthurt. No sense of urgency from AB when he knew he was losing the fight...his corner wanted it more than it.
