Yea he helps bring out the best in his fighters and they usually have alot of success. From B level fighters like Gradovich to elites like Mikey he's doing a great job. He definitely brought out the best in Maidana, took him to a level most didn't think Chino would reach.
If Mares beats Santa Cruz or Mikey beats Crawford or Lomachenko it definitely strengthens his case. His Maidana gameplan with Floyd was brilliant.
Yes, he is really good trainer. He should train Kovalev, I think he is the trainer for him.............he's done an excellent job with Mikey..............
