Loma vs Garcia is the best fight that can be made below 140.

Loma/Mikey 135 is the fight I want to see. No one can make size excuses since Loma won his gold medals at 135. I favor Loma in this one.

It's a pick-em for me. Slight edge to Garcia based on resume and looking very solid above Super Feather.

Mikey looked really good today forsure. I was surprised at how he beat Broner. He looked pretty mediocre coming forward against Burgos, but against Broner he looked like he was a natural come forward fighter. Before I had Loma beating Garcia with ease, but this fight showed me he definitely is a complete fighter not just a counter puncher like JMM.

Wrong. He won his medals at featherweight (125.7 lb) AND lightweight (132.3 lb).

I don't imagine Chenko getting hit as cleanly and as often by Broner as Garcia was.

Broner isnt a bantamweight or featherweight. He's a big JrWW.

Mikey proved he can take a punch from a fighter that can put down JrMWs.

Mikey also looked better beating Broner and Salido than Loma did against Salido.

Despite Mikey being more proven, I give Lomachenko the slight edge only because I know he is capable of pot shotting very effecfively and if you can master that you can beat most styles.

i think loma's vastly superior footwork would make the difference here, but it's still a great 60-40 kinda match-up that i'd love to see.

True. Chenko needs to fight Salido again to prove that such a loss was due to his inexperience and that we can't compare him to that fighter who lost to Salido any longer..

I'd quite like to see Linares vs either Loma or Garcia as I really rate Jorge and it'd be great to see him in with two of the very very best.

Inoue-Gonzalez and Inoue-Estrada are both better fights.

i favor garcia, even though i think loma has a lot more variation in his arsenal. mikey has no tricks, no special effects, as floyd would say, but he is a master in what all the boxing scientists in history have agreed is the right way to throw punches, defend from punches, control real estate, and manage fuel efficiency... hes got a tool for every job. i think size and power, and the intelligence to know how to use those advantages, would be the deciding factor that tips it towards garcia.
it is such an intellectually stimulating match up for so many reasons. the whole loma camp is so new school, thinking outside the box, incorporating new techniques, etc... and the garcias are an established school of boxing that seems to exceed the expectations put on their fighters. then you got 2 of the most confident fighters in combat sports in a fight where they are both going to find out exactly who they really are. loma and mikey are the same type of men, real guys who believe what they say and want the ring to be what sets their place in history.
i would love to see both make history.
