I was in central London today and saw on the front of the evening standard was frampton vs guiterrez watch the big fight tomorrow night on 5

There will be plenty of casuals putting the telly on tonight going "where's the bloody frampton fight????

According to this Barry also resigned a while ago so there's probably nothing in this to be fair!

 

I was driving over to yorkshire today and there was a very interesting interview with Carl on today on radio 5 , not sure if it was live or pr-recorded as i had missed the beginning, it was interesting, him saying he wants Santa Cruz again because it is one all etc etc, then he says he will be retired after five more fights, but he wants the 5 fights to be big fights, as well as saying that he has fought everywhere Vegas etc etc and how he was looking forward to fighting in Ireland.

 

So what are channel 5 showing now then?they can't just put on that god awful undercard can they???

 

I could see his final few including Selby, Santa Cruz and probably another hack at Quigg. Can't see Santa Cruz ever coming to Belfast. Seems they want Selby before the end of the year.

Frampton doesn't make weight, so fight becomes valueless for him; opponent conveniently gets injured and fight cancelled. Anyone else so cynical that they are expecting a Lee Selby fight to be quickly arranged - domestic blockbuster regardless of belt concerns.

Really sorry to hear that. He has been fighting long enough to know how to make weight, he's an exciting fighter with lots of talent, wanted to see him fight again ASAP.................

 

Rumours here in Belfast that Frampton is ditching Barry the weasel. Imo Frampton not making weight was down to Barry, when we wnt to the Quigg fight, Framptons dad had 5000 tickets to sell to his fans from Belfast, ranging from £40 to £500....Barry put 10% on the face value of every ticket and kept it to himself, apparently Frampton was raging about this. as his dad had to explain this to people as he was selling them to us.

Barry is always putting night on......... A night with Barry and Carl, tickets start from £40, this **** Barry is irrelevant.

Anyway, i got a txt from a friend in tigersbay today, tigersbay is where frampton is from, the guy who txt me said, Frampton is ditching Barry, you heard it here first.

 

Let me get this straight: you say Frampton not maKing weight "was down to Barry".

What was Barry doing? - force-feeding Carl with calorie-laden chocolate cake?

How, if Barry kept it to himself, was Carls dad having to explain ticket prices?

A manager promoting evenings with his fighter - shock! horror! A manager has no business promoting his fighter and giving him earning opportunities, right?

Carls dad was selling the tickets to the usual fans, barry told him to put the extra on, rumours is he went in overwight to avoid rusell JR.

IMO He should have stayed with Hearn.
