They aren't! Its just a popular nonsense phrase that arised in the UK in the 70's/80's with the Bees Knees etc. Also Viz magazine made it quite popular too

Fantastic match. Could have went either way all the way through. We were both close to outright KO's.

I was wondering before the Ortiz fight, if Ortiz had KO'd him in the 3rd and I won the round 10-9, giving us a score of 114-114. Would it have been classed as draw or do you use the amount of KD's scored to determine the winner? (in this case 2-1 to yourself)

Thanks, yes it was a very good battle, and a well-deserved victory for you! I'll be back, curiously enough this is the second time I've lost by one point due to a last round KD ...

Now how did those judges see Broner winning 4 rounds, making it a close UD? :nonono

I'm not sure, I seem to have a vague recollection of KDs being used as tiebreaks, but I can't find that rule anywhere, I guess it would be up to @nellybc.

Or we could have just made a 13th round to decide.

If Corral had won, JordanK2406 vs pablinov would have been a draw with 2 KDs apiece.

That's unlucky! I have no doubt you'll be back looking at your record in the WBK and the League.

There were a few decisions that went my way in that sense. Broner getting a close UD when it should have been wide, Ali getting a wide UD when he should have lost imo.
