He fought a man that would get him a mandatory spot for almost all of the belts at 160 in his first fight at the weight.

At least it didn't take him 11 rounds to finish him like Bellew.

Heiland nothing special but is a fringe-contender sort of guy. Blame Heiland/Haye for conning you, not Charlo/Bellew.

I'm not in the camp who believe Charlo will rule at 160 and beat Golovkin or Canelo but I liked what I saw Saturday.

It was a very mature and professional performance from Charlo, he isn't stupid, he knew Heiland was injured but he stuck to his game plan, he knew he was in total control and didn't just rush in, go wild and look for the spectacular finish.

Charlo showed a great deal of self control, many fighters would have seen the opponent injury, especially that one as it was so obvious and tried to immediately close the show but like I said he took his time and ended the fight with a couple of great shots.

Its been put to bed long ago that Haye was injured. He obviously couldn't pull out because of what he'd done previous with pulling out of fights and I dare say he needed the money bad ! If you watched Haye before you'll know this to be true.

It's hardly Charlo's fault the guy was injured. Charlo will be a real force at MW.

Not comparable, Haye would have beaten Bellew without the injury, Charlo would have won regardless.

That assumes that both injuries were equally severe and identically limiting.
