Gennady Golovkin is gonna drop Canelo hard with a body shot

I think canelo goes out on his sword, and fair play to him if he does. you dont want to be taking to much punishment from ggg

 

I seriously doubt it since traditionally throwing in the towel isn't the Mexican idea of going out with honor.

I am prdicting that canelo would get stopped via corner stoppage. He's a tough boy, but he's gonna be in the way all night

 

I think you mean going out on his shield as the Spartan's were expected to be brought home if possible when killed.

 

It won't be a body shot. Three reasons:

1. Canelo stays tight and protects body well. Liam is a good body puncher but all he could land on was Canelo's elbows.

2. Canelo is considerably shorter than Golovkin. Punching plane will be unusual and more difficult to find for Golovkin.

3. Canelo is a little tank. I don't think he is weak to the body.

There's a real possibility GGG might make this a streetfight a la the Brook fight, but without feeling the need to carry Canelo the first few rounds like he did with Brook.

Golovkin's past it, I'm not excited for this fight very much. Canelo should win this.
Canelo sucked the life out of this fight by picking on a past prime Golovkin.

 

I hope so.. But mainly what I want is for them to fight hard.. I want blood flowing no matter the winner.. Both these guys have my respect.. Go GGG though!

 

Because he was unable to KO an opponent who outweighed him by twenty pounds means that he is past his prime?
