What a career, had to become 41 to make it competitive for the rest. Happy retirement Champ!!

Good call for Wlad. He is a super smart guy and I'm sure he will do well in whatever he does after boxing. :bananaride

Good to see he made this decision, his place
in history was already secure, he had nothing
    else to prove.

Its a shame boxing fans are always a step behind than other combat sports and it took his last fight for most to see his talent.Really Wlad without the Joshua fight would never get his recognition and that also shows most fans really need to wake up and look at the fighter and not what you think you see.....

    Good luck Champ!

Enjoy your retirement champ you had a great career. I will miss his ring walks the most, one of my favorites. Never even heard of this song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers until Wlad used it for his ring walks love the song now.

Good for Wlad. He's decided to bring the curtain down on a ATG career with dignity.

Now as far as Joshua is concerned I'm one of the few people looking forward to him wiping out Pulev who has always aggravated me immensely being as whiny as he is overrated.

He should have tried to get wilder to prove that he is still one of the best even though he's past prime, and that he lost against aj due to coming in against a young [roided up] phenom.

I thought it was the uppercuts and hooks Joshua landed to his dome?

Good decision, don't want to end up brain damaged in older age like his predecessors. Wouldn't have minded if he decided to go the WBC route and take Wilder's belt as he was still fully capable of doing even at his age.

I'm glad he is gone. Now AJ has no excuse to duck Ortiz. If AJ fights the bum Pulev next he should be stripped of the WBA title. Boxing is about to get fun again.
