i don't claim that's the first time it's ever happened but i had never seen anything like that before or since--not in a fight between two elite-level fighters

That's my favourite one-punch bodyshot knockout. Absolutely perfect.

A lot of times, a shot to the liver or to the fake ribs does as much damage. Duran and JCC shortened some careers with their body work.

 

I remember McLellan completely destroying a couple of guys with body-shots (Bell and Williamson maybe?), GGG v Macklin, Cooney v Lyle, Gatti v Dorin and Ward v Sanchez are all great ko's.

I don't know if ribs were broken but every guy on the receiving end looked like they'd been shot and were writhing in agony.
