I did watch some of his fights and did see him leading with his head. My question was rhetorical. In all fairness, he does have a throat injury and he did say that it forces him to tuck in his chin. So it might be part of the reason for his coming in that way. However, that doesn't in any way reduce the illegal damage inflicted on his opponent. I personally don't think it's worth the risk to his health. In fact, neither does his physician who advised him against fighting with that permanent injury. So earning a living safely via teaching seems to be the wise thing to do in order to totally avert a possible disaster.

Horn has never in his previous fights fought in the manner he fought Pacquiao. That was the way it was thought would serve his chances best and it worked a charm for him.

Well, I am not saying that he fought all his previous fights identically. Just that I noticed he comes in with his head. Also, what honor is there in winning a contest by breaking rules? To me that sounds like saying that I won a chess match because I used the bishop like a queen or a pawn like a rook.

A professional boxing match? Protect yourself at all times? That doesn't nullify all the other rules which the boxers are expected to abide by. That's why there warnings, point deductions and disqualifications.

You are looking way past the obvious. This is elementary stuff.

First rule of any fight is what?

    I'm not a mind reader.

    BTW
I am ranked in Pai Lum Kung Fu so fighting isn't a total mystery to me.

    You don't need to be.

    This is 101 stuff.

Back later to see how you fared.

I think a lot of the media reporting for this fight is weeks behind what's actually happening.

The word before Manny left Australia following the first fight was that the rematch is on in Melbourne in November.

Let's hope they treat manny with some respect in the rematch

Letting Horn headbutt him and open up cuts and then shaft him of the decision was a derisory way to treat an ATG boxer.

why even bother. He wins and Horn got lucky. He loses and what does it prove. I think he should retire unless he needs the money.

I suspect Arum wanted Pac to lose the fight, you know he controls the judges, referee and boxing commission. Pac needs to knock Horn out this time, he almost did in the first fight, everyone knows Pac won the fight except Horn who is a legend in his own mind.........

Same with the the first bradley and pacquaio fight. he won that one by the biggest margin of the 3 fights and somehow he won. The Horn match scoring was pretty bad tho.
