How Will Mr. Lomachenko Son Mr. Marriaga Tonight...???

I don't want to call Marriaga, Loma's 'son'. I respect him for taking tough fights that others aren't man enough to take.

That said, it's probably another 'death by a thousand cuts' result by Loma. I think he should try and get a one punch KO though to really make a statement.

 

Anyone know if Top Rank TV is airing the undercard tonight?

hasn't been stopped before and went the distance with walters. so just a feeling. loma will probs dominate him but I think he hangs in there for 12 rounds might take a good beating though.

 

He gave Oscar Valdez a helluva fight last time out as well. Marriaga is a tough SOB. Loma operates on a higher plain though, and I think he'll get the stoppage.

 

Loma is also slightly bigger. This won't end well for Marriaga, he steps up when nobody wants and seems like a nice guy.
I'm expecting hi-tech performance from the Matrix.

 

That isn't very relevant when talking about Loma. Walters landed some big shots on Marriaga and staggered him several times. However it was just that. A few big shots. There was no high output from Walters and Marriaga was landing shots of his own the entire time. Loma doesn't have to come close to staggering or hurting Marriaga to stop him. The only thing that needs to happen is for Loma to land at will, and with a high connect percentage against a guy who can't respond. It's hard to see that not happening and no decent referee will let a fight like that continue less they risk another Kovalev-Simakov or Eubank-Blackwell.

Remember, fatal injuries come from sustained punishment more often than single hard shots.

 

I just want to hear all the stupid **** Atlas says about Loma tonight. His attention whoring gene should be working in overdrive for this one.
