Mayweather's performance against Gatti

fluid owns and runs vegas. that 0 on his record is the only reason people want to watch because they want to see it taken. he is boring AF to watch. thats why he sold 4.6 million PPVs against pac. And his retirement fight sold 300k. If floyd had a loss this fight with conor wouldn't even have been made. He should be thankful the judges were paid off against castillo. that 0 probably doubled his career earnings these last 7-8 years.

 

He is damn lucky too or he wouldn't have this 300+ million lottery fight with conor with the record he should actually have. Meanwhile pac on the other hand has been ****ed over. Judge made an error in the JMM fight and didn't give him credit for a knockdown. He beat Bradley all 3 times. He also beat horn. Without getting robbed on the first JMM fight I doubt they'd have fought the last fight with roided up JMM for KTFO6 either. Pac should have 3 losses max.


Fluid also runs NSAC and USADA. Manny applied for pain killer shot and it was apporved by USADA for his shoulder and on a technicality NSAC said no on the night of the fight. Fluid took banned IVs and was caught and given a TUE 3 weeks post fight. Oh yeah no horse hair reyes gloves for manny either. And floyd knew his shoulder was ****ed. He had a spy in his camp.

 

You mean the same Gatti who had lost 5 times by the time he got to FlIVd? He teed off because GAtti wasnt a threat at all. Corrales was his best performance. Corrales was a very good fighter. Canelo was drained, 23 and moves his feet like molasses. Actually i think that might be the last fight i saw of FlIVds that i was impressed with. I expected so much greatness from him but it just never really panned out. Struggled with Castillo, then ducked a few fights, avoided pac and fought a bunch of small guys and old ex champions. With a couple good wins mixed in.

 

So he waited for Hatton... Canelo.. Maidana.. All to lose or look bad.. Lol. This is the equivalent of saying Ray Leonard went up to MW because he saw Hagler slipping. It's a joke.

 

Whilst he had the right fighter to look good against, he still managed to look sensational against Gatti.

He was punch perfect, aggressive, accurate and his combination punching was superb.

Mayweather was brilliant against Gatti.

 

Gatti was 2-3 levels below Floyd. To call that Floyd's best performance is really selling Floyd short quite a bit.

 

That's like exclaiming that Bobby Fisher, a grandmaster, was brilliant against a mere expert level chess player. No contest!

 

Not sure if it was just me but mayweather was defo hitting harder in that fight against pac. Also made a big play about changing his training for it. Chopping wood etc. For me it was a cover for him suddenly hitting harder. You dont change training after years and years of success training the same way. I think floyd was on something. The problem was at that point pacman wasnt. Hence the reason mayweather keeps going on about taking the fight at the right time etc.

Just a pity we never seen it when both we,re clean or at least it was an even playing field.
