Lets dispel the myth he can't punch. Yeah he's a pressure fighter and breaks guys down, but you can't do that without good level power.

He's stopping guys who have never been stopped before, he's fighting good level title challengers and stopping them fight after fight. It's rare to see at the top level of boxing.

I agree. His body shots are powerful, you can see it in his opponents' faces. Anyone who says Loma has no punching power DKSAB.

He can definitely hit with authority with that left hand of his when he wants to, especially to the body. I know he's suffered from hand problems in the past and that might be the reason why he throws so many lighter punches and is more sparing with the heavy artillery.

Lomachenko's not really a devastating puncher. His power is above average, though.

He landed a body shot against Marriaga (in the final round IIRC) which was really loud and hard. You could see he really sat down on it and that it clearly hurt Marriaga.

Loma has good power when he sits down on his shots, he just doesn't do so until he sets it up perfectly with the pitty pat shots.

He just isn't a one punch ko artist. He needs at least a two punch combo like in the Martinez fight.

I'm not saying he's huge puncher but he can punch a bit when he wants to
