well, you might be right, but let's be clear about two thing: (i) Lara was indeed a legitimate opponent for Canelo, but when a belt holder agrees to fight another belt holder in the same weight division, that ought to be the norm; but the fact is that it's not the norm for Canelo; and (ii) while Lara might was a better opponent than Liam Smith or Amir Khan, and therefore "higher risk" that is not the same kind of risk as the risk involved in fighting GGG. The Lara risk is losing by decision (which nearly happened); the GGG risk is actual serious physical harm
I am an avid GGG fan, but I have a strange feeling about the upcoming fight. Golovkin didn't look in shape in almost all buildup meetings, press conferences, shootings. Haven't seen that from him before.
I suppose i am. My prediction is that this is a complete one sided beating ive never been convinced that Oscar has ever been convinced that Canelo can stand with the elite of the 160 division and GGG is the beast of this division.
I had the same experience, I clicked play once, it haunts me. For sure, a different kind of hunger but now that's all you will think of when somebody says anything relating to hunger and eyes. I'm sorry LOL
He looked like he'd just woken up in the middle of the night and seen the Grim Reaper standing at the end of his bed lol
wel that pretty closley describes his situation doesn't it? He had just woken up and standing across from him....
The sudden realization of one's own mortality tends to have that sobering effect. It's comparable to finally realizing that one is really on death row.
