Whether you think he is #1 or not. He is arguably the most adaptable fighter.

August 26th Floyd become's an active boxer again and therefore will be #1 on the P4P list's for a calendar year until he becomes "inactive" again.

For the point of the thread, no I don't think Ward is P4P.
For me right now i'd go for Loma'

By your reasoning, Crawford should be P4P number 1 then, because literally
everyone else other than him in the top 5 has a disputed win or has actually lost recently.
Ward and Kovalev are the only two P4P combatants that dared to fight another
person so highly acclaimed. I have no issue with Ward being number one
(I personally thought Kovalev was number 1 prior to the Ward fights).

In real life, yes. Nobodies resume other than Floyd and Manny stacks up to his. Allhes really up against are these media creations that get overhyped like GGG. He should've been p4p number 1.

Technically skills, High Ring IQ, Versatile, Adaptive, Great Resume. A bit dirty as were other greats: Holy, Hopkins, Tyson, etc. Yeah the 1st fight with Sergey could have gone the other way, but didn't. Floyd and Pac both were recognized as PFP #1 and they had close fights as well that could/should have gone the other way. So considering all in all, sure.

Have you been writing daily letters to Kovalev since the fight, asking if he is ok, telling him he's still the best?

Its not Wards fault that Weeks stopped the fight at that point. Ward never cheated prior to that moment
