Good to see this got made.. Bit of eleventh hour move, but both guys were probably training and on stand-by just in case... Jack 116-112-117-111 type of decision. Should be a really good fight.

 

Mayweather by late KO/Decision. Conor will get tired, discouraged mid-late rounds and i can see a potential KO

 

Despite the negativity surrounding this fight, I guarantee that it will be more exciting than the last ten combined fights of Floyd's career. Whether you like it or not, Conor has captured the public's imagination. His only chance is to be aggressive and land a "lucky" shot,and I'll be damned if Floyd is going run all night from a novice boxer. Hence the new pumped up version of Floyd. A lot of boxing fans want to see Conor knocked out, and the reverse can be said of mostly everybody else. Is there a circus atmosphere ?, well duh, that's part of the allure. It's more entertainment than anything else, but when the bell rings, it will become sport.

We know that Floyd is taking on a huge risk, fighting a younger, taller, much larger, world champion at the old age of 40. Just how shot is the version of Mayweather that Conor is about to face?

Yeah he ended his own thread with stupidity, I don't understand how they have managed to sell this as if it's going to be anything resembling competitive.

Is vince McMahon writing the script for this ...... mcGregor to lose by DQ when big shows storms to the ring to avenge been KO'd by money.

 

He's likely not shot at all, just past his best but still very game. "Shot" means you can't hang at any relevant level and he probably could come out and still beat a lot of the champions and contenders in & around his weight class.

 

If floyd gets beat it will be because Conor mcgregor is the better man. Floyd ain't shot

 

Actually I think I like the version you are putting forward, better than the actual fight.

I want clowns, and a can of paint in there somewhere.

 

PEDs can keep him at a higher level than he could maintain in his prime.
