How does he do? Does he win them all, lose them all, win some lose others?

Keep in mind that 2 of these guys have amateur boxing experience(Cro cop and Kharitonov at a high level) Hunt and Overeem have a wealth of K-1 experience, Hunt had a brief stint as a pro boxer when he was much younger(also was a sparring partner of Tua on occasion) Junior I think might have a brief amateur boxing background as well as a lower profile kickboxing background... Anyways, all 5 are viewed as top notch MMA strikers and for good reason.

C'mon, Price beats all these guys in a boxing ring. He dropped Hammer and almost had him out of there in his last fight - a legit top 10-15 guy.

Kharitonov was shafted in the amateurs against Helenius and had a really good, close and controversial fight with Hrgovic in WSOB... Arguably he's a more decorated amateur than Hammer was. Cro Cop was a good amateur as well. I'm confident that Cro Cop, Hunt and Kharitonov beat him... Overeem and JDS I'm not as sure about.

Dude, Hunt is as slow as a week in the jug. Cro Crop has a chin that makes Price's look okay. The Russian has been stopped several times in k1 and mma. He would be blasted by Hammer. Not even competitive.

So? Price was backed up and pressured to the ropes by an ancient Skelton.. Hunt also despite being pudgy and stocky also has far better conditioning, if he's standing after 5-6 rounds he'd KTFO Price.

Cro Cop had some chin problems sure, but he still has better punching mechanics and movement than Price and could certainly tag him with his left cross.

Kharitonov is 37+ now and was recently stopped after being in bed for months with a bad virus, the other losses aren't as black and white as you're making them out to be(assuming you just checked wikipedia instead of actually WATCHING the fights) against Overeem and A. Emelianenko he was taken down and stopped with ground strikes. Watch Kharitonov back up Hrgovic and beat him up on the ropes, same with Helenius(he had a knockdown that wasn't counted) Terrible matchup for Price.

You're giving Price a lot more credit and benefit of the doubt than he actually deserves. He could easily lose to other European-level(or lower) fighters and US and European based journeyman with enough durability to take him late and secure the stoppage. Would you pick him to beat Leapai, Holomono, Tupou with any degree of confidence? He was nearly KTFO by Pala! What about Sherman Williams, Old man Oliver McCall etc. Price is a badly flawed fighter dude... Even if you think these guys would all lose, they have a better chance than you're giving them.

Price can be KTFO'd by anyone who hits remotedly hard. So the question is - will they land it early?

I actually think that 2010-2012 version of Price does much better vs these MMA guys than today's Price - in addition to his awful chin poor David has now lost all his confidence.

Price would beat Overreem, but not sure about others.
JDS has pretty decent striking for an MMA guy.

He'd beat everyone comfortably except Kharitonov. CroCop had an amateur record but it wasn't "high level" like previously suggested. He's someone who David Price could beat comfortably without getting tagged. Hunt didn't do well in boxing, if he could have had a career there he would have gone for it instead of going 0-1-1 so just having a chin and power isn't enough for him in this fight. Junior Dos Santos throws punches well but he has atrocious footwork and Price should beat him comfortably without getting hit by anything too. Overeem's boxing is also very poor which is shown up in MMA recently, and in K1 he was always a clinch and knee type guy.

Kharitonov though is a tough pressure fighter as seen in the WSB and was a legitimately accomplished amateur, which none of the others were, and he has the chin and the power to beat David Price. Then again, he seems easy to hit and Price could get him out of there. He was a better boxer though (for boxing) than any of the others.

Are you bigging up mma cans on this thread or trashing Price?

He cracks Overeem's glass jaw which might be even weaker than his own, loses to everyone else.

"High level" may have been an overstatement on Cro Cops part, but it was still solid enough. Price was tagged and backed into the ropes by an old fossilized Skelton who was a former K-1 fighter himself.... Price is not above not getting tagged by any of these guys... He was tagged and hurt in his debut, dropped by Pala etc. Hunt's pro boxing stint was very early on in his combat sports career, so you can't really judge him on that. He probably at the very least would have been on par with the likes of Holomono, Leapai and Topou had he stuck with it, 3 regional guys who could give Price a rough run at things. I agree about JDS, going back I'd probably change that vote(as stated in an earlier post he beats Overeem and probably JDS)

Yeah the later version of Kharitonov was much easier to hit, as he just plodded forward with a high guard with really no concern for defense. Although earlier in his fighter career he was about 30-40 lbs lighter, more mobile, technical. After injuries he changed his fighter style considerably. Either way... He beats Price on a good night.

Miller who's a former K-1/Glory fighter lost to an ancient Cro Cop TWICE btw. Obviously triangle theory doesn't work 100% but it just goes to show that you guys are underestimating the ability of some of these guys... Miller destroys Price, does anyone disagree? Why wouldn't Cro Cop(especially a younger version) have a chance? Has very good fundamentals, power, speed, accuracy...
