Vijender is a knockout waiting to happen. He should retire to protect himself from getting seriously hurt.
Elite amateur though and nice guy.

I predicted Maimaitiali would beat this hypejob, and it appears I was right, unfortunately the biased judges seemed to have watched a different match than the Indian commentators did.

Singh is a joke... Haven't even seen the fight. But from glancing at boxrec, reading the coverage - this is a complete hometown decision/screwjob. Singh talked a load of ****... Said he was good to beat the hell out of Maimaitiali, only to be saved by a hometown decision.

    Was the point deduction just?

It's a strange one, he SHOULD have been, but the timing of it was wrong...was definately a third or 4th low one, and he could have had one taken later on too

Round 1 Singh 10-9 Ridiculously Close, almost even.
Round 2 Singh 10-9 Very Close
Round 3 Maimaitiali 10-9 Close, could have been 10-8, Zulpikar arguably scored a KD.
Round 4 Singh 10-9 Nice counters won that one cleanrly
Round 5 Singh 10-9 Very Close
Round 6 Even 9-9 (Maimiatiali) BS point deduction for low blow, then Zulpikar robbed of legit KD.
Round 7 Maimaitiali 10-9 Very Close
Round 8 Maimaitiali 10-9 Most one sided round of fight
Round 9 Maimaitiali 10-9 Zulpikar rocked Singh several times with his jab, Singh's nose is ****ed.
Round 10 Maimaitiali 10-9 ZM's jab rocked Singh several times, he was out on his feet for half the round.

    Maimaitiali 95-94

95-95 draw at best for Vijender. He did not win this fight.

He's also damn lucky this was a scheduled 10 rounder, because there's no way he'd have made it 12, Maimaitiali pushed him down in the 10th, it took all Singh could muster to stand back up.

I agree. Even so, the missed KD was 100% a legit KD, that would've made it a draw already.
