You could be asking Rodchenkov the same thing, where is his evidence that Putin or the higher ups in government were in compliance with the bribes?Or that security agents were in on it? He became a wanted man after they found out he was sabotaging the drug testing procedure, he gave some Winter Olympic athletes steroidal cocktails, which is a violation, and thus the man fled the country fearing for his life. Everything he says about the drug scandal sounds almost like a James Bond movie.
if he were in this thread, i guarantee you i would be doing that exact thing, but hes not. im not saying americans are morally superior in any way, im trying to separate truth from propaganda so an accurate picture is presented. my feelings dont enter the equation.
I'm not Russian either, so I am a neutral party. I am simply well aware of the holes in Rodchenkovs claims.
yes, what i was trying to determine is how your neutrality led you down the progression of logic that you took.
There are two "whistleblowers" on which all those reports are based, there is no other substantial evidence. The first whistleblowers are family of Stepanov and Stepanova. Stepanova is runner who was disqualified for manipulation with blood samples and doping and her husband was a doping officer of RUSADA who was involved in this plus he was selling doping to other athletes. That was in 2008 or so. When they were asked a question why were you silent previously he told that they were told that all world does so... They also told that they provided information for free, but later on it turned out that they received money for that. Very reliable source I would say. Now back to Rodchenkov. Stepanov told that Rodchenkov was selling doping to athletes and was helping to cover it up. Don't you find it interesting? Selling and not just giving doping to athletes and then covering it up. Not for free. In 2013 his sister Marina Rodchenkova was arrested for selling doping to athletes by Russian officials. The officials were checking Rodchenkov as he was the main suspect and the source of it. After that he started acting strangely and also provided medical certificate that he has some kind serious psychological mental issues (don't have time to translate it correctly). WADA had accused Rodchenkov in destroying more than 1000 blood samples in September 2015. After that he fled to USA and started telling the "truth", while continuing work in doping laboratory in USA. Another "reliable" source. The one who was selling doping and was covering it up who as a bonus to all this has mental psychological issues. I've also previously provided and article from a lawyer column writer from Forbes where he basically says that McLaren's report is not worth of paper it is written on and that a normal court wouldn't consider any of the proofs valid.
Excellent, these guys will take Rodchenkov's word as gospel though despite his background and criminal, mental health issues.
How have I shown an agenda against Russians? Was it how I said that there was a lack of evidence that Putin was involved? Or that Rodchenkov story doesn't completely ring true? Or that there is propaganda in the west against Russia to make them the new big bad? If that's bias against Russia and agenda driven against them, then I'm doing a ****ing awful job at it. You seem to have a distrust of the west and it's motives and institutions based upon numerous posts you have made in this thread and other threads. And I'll admit I have a similar view towards Russia and it's government, bet you weren't expecting that revelation. But the difference between my view and yours is that while you only seem to distrust the west and think Russia are victims of their machinations, I distrust the Russians and the west. Both are as bad as each other.
It seems we cant agree on this, time to call it a day and focus on something else. Thanks for not verbally assaulting me like Smoking GM did. Cheers.
So you would have though two sources from outside the system would have been more reliable in their accusations? And before turning them in, the mentally deranged person was fit to be the Director of the Moscow and Sochi doping control laboratories. And was declared "credible and truthful" in the McLaren report. Also you are wrong twice in opening paragraph: Concerning that there was no evidence and everything was based on statements: "The IP conducted a number of witness interviews and reviewed thousands of documents, employed cyber analysis, conducted cyber and forensic analysis of hard drives, urine sample collection bottles and laboratory analysis of individual athlete samples." "The IP forensic examination of these bottles found evidence of scratches and marks confirmed tampering. A urine examination of 3 of the samples showed that the DNA was not that of the athlete involved." And Vitaly Stepanov was not a contributing part in the report.
Shameless cheating! Russians have been said by everyone to have milked the PED's for many decades now. Would be interesting to see the documentary. Russian athletes in the tons were banned from the Olympics 2016!
All one needs is a rudimentary knowledge of the sports and substances these Athletes are being accused of failing doping tests over. In most instances there is really no benefit for the athlete in question to even be using the particular banned substance that magically appeared in their samples. Take SHW weight lifter and World record holder Alexy Lovchev failing for some lame GH analog. No actual AAS showed up in his system only a weak precursor to a peptide only used by people who do not access to the real substance. You really think elite athletes from Russia are resorting to weak analogs of GH when they can just use the real thing? So many of you are on a witch hunt and refuse to look at actual logic.
