You're in Pulev's camp for AJ fight. Your advice for Pulev?

well if pulev wants a chance he must improve from the wlad fight. if he has an learned from the wlad fight then maybe he can compete with AJ. i think pulev is a worthy opponent i think he deserves a chance however i see AJ knocking him out in 4 or 5 rounds.

I could see Pulev making a good fight of it if he can survive the first 5-6 rounds and thats a big if.

 

I'd assume taking Joshua late in the fight is a part of their plan. We all know Joshua doesn't have the best stamina being such a huge guy. Pulev will look to stay out of trouble and survive the early rounds and hopefully take advantage of any dip to get some momentum.

But as you say that's going to be a big ask, he doesn't have anything to really keep Joshua at bay.

yup that is the only thing he can do and thats why admired him after the fight with Klitschko. Cause he got on the ring to fight , not to survive!

 

Pulev needs to stick the jab and move. Push a jab in AJ's face as much as he can. Watch out for bull rushes

 

I would advise him to start confidently, aggressively and do don't hesitate. Let punches go, do not let AJ just charge forward without any real fear, do not drift in to survival mode.

Joshua proved in his last fight he can get off the floor, hang in there and still finish a fight late, so there isn't much point in my opinion trying to drag it late, Joshua isn't just going to fold (David Price style) so go and fight him.

AJ doesn't have ag good chin. So Pulev doesn't have to be a hard puncher to hurt him. If I was Pulevs I would either go right him and go for broke or try to get AJ to the 4th or 5th round and then go at him.

 

I honestly don"t give Pulev much of a chance to win. But he can either duck and grab (and loose respect) or make it a fight and leave the ring on his shield, with a nice legacy and paycheck. I hope he goes for glory and makes it a fight.

 

Do lots of holding, lead with the head, try get a cut going. Fight dirty and try to get AJ angry so he exposes himself and leaves himself open.

Pulevs only real chance is to turn it into a dirty fight and open up a bad cut on him.
