he turns down 4 million to fight whyte to fight ortiz for 1.5 million and his backers put all there carfully nurtered and protected investment on the line in a potentially very loseable fight for no money

as i said cannot see it happening hope my misgivings are proved totally wrong.

 

So his plan is pay Stiverne step aside, fight Ortiz, then Stiverne and then Joshua.

Even if Wilder is genuine about fighting Ortiz which I doubt he is, why would Ortiz want the fight when he could pick up an easy vacant belt and then unify, most likely with Joshua. Having the title with give him more leverage in any proposed fight with Wilder and Joshua, it doesn't make sense for either of them to face off now.

 

i hope the Ortiz fight comes off - that will be a very credible win if he gets past Ortiz....then we could finally say Wilder finally beat a decent top 10 guy. It'd get him enormous respect amongst a lot of his doubters/haters. But of course such a fight carries big risks for him. Ortiz likely will outbox him and stand a good chance of stopping him if Wilder doesn't manage to get his big right hand off and end it. Nobody wants to see Stiverne either.

 

"Checking in with the champ?" -- They should have interviewed AJ. Deontay is NOT the champ.

 

So, this surely has be the announcement?!

 

Also, if no one want to screen the Stiverne fight this year, who would want it next year?

 

The guys a pearler he's been spreading his crap about Ortiz,both Eddie Hearn and AJ whilst everyone knows he's got Stiverne waiting to save him and use as an excuse for not getting Ortiz .

That's assuming that Stiverne will take the bait. He might consider his right to a rematch on schedule non-negotiable.

 

hes not gonna fight Ortiz... I lost all respect I had for wilder when he turned down that whitye fight saying it wasn't enough money LOL... hes scared to get in with whitye but wants us to believe he wants to fight Ortiz? I mean come on.. he always does this. yaps he wants to fight the top guys then goes quiet for few moonths and picks a lower contendor in the wbc ranks lol.
