no governing body in any weight class ranks the champions of the other governing bodies in their top 10/15 etc. For example Golovkin is not ranked in the WBO as he has belt(s) for other organisations.

Am I misunderstanding this situation? His mandatory is Bermane Stiverne or be stripped right?

So, will it be the anticipated Molina rematch or an all american, world champion, clash with Martin?

If Wilder doesn't fight Ortiz next then there isn't any point in discussing him further.

Hell, there's no point in discussing him right now, but I'm at least trying to be fair.

How is we can see this and yet these Wilder fanboys and channels like boxing Ego just wanna believe anything from this fraud,I'm not hating on him but after three years of having the beltbwe still waiting for him to fight someone, anyone actually.
I said all along that Wilder had really wanted this fight with Stiverne, all the BS about Ortiz ect we all know by know that it's his MO.
There's nothing this guy could do to Trump AJs last fight and even the rematch that never happened was gonna be in Vegas, proving AJ like a true champ will travel for the right reasons whereas Wilder won't even take some easy money off Hearn and fight Whyte.

Is there a Croatian lorry driver suspiciously in the top 15, or is he doing a "rematch" next?

Methinks Buffet Bermane with Martin or Scuba second pick. Maybe the card will feature a barn busting Scuba vs Martin eliminator.

I think that we can safely say that the modern perception of preserving an unbeaten record and what it means to former Mayweather fans plays a role in this. No oldschool boxing fan would care if he fought someone like Whyte, lost, and then came back against a few more tough fighters like a Povetkin or Ortiz and went 1-1 in the process. If you fight the best, more often than not, you'll take a few losses. You'll be better off afterward also.
