Bellew fighting Ward is a non starter, complete pie in the sky. The clear priority for Hearn is Bellew V Haye - that's the money fight and the one I still think will get made.
Yep. I think it's a bit weird this soft spot Hearn has for Bellew. But even so, it's interesting to note how readily Hearn admits that Bellew vs Cleverly 2 was awful. I know it would make him look a nutcase to claim it was 'good', but he makes it obvious that it should never have been a PPV. I don't think he'd consider putting Bellew in another PPV where Bellew is the bigger draw. That pretty much leaves Parker or Wilder as his options.
No we haven't. Many of us called the first fight not happening and called this the same the second it was announced.
Cyclone has the exclusive deal with Channel 5 so unless Mick did a deal with them it won't be on that platform. ITV Box Office would make sense if the fight goes ahead.
Outside shout here, but any chance this is the real reason Team Fury was doing a 'deal' with Hayemaker Ringstar the other week, and why Parker was with Haye the week before? To get it on as a joint promo with Hayemaker Ringstar and DAVE tv?
Haye will always look to fight on sky Box office look at all his big fights, except for chisora his fights are on sky as he hypes it up and then gets the big payday
What i'm saying is Haye will do anything he can to fight on sky box office you saw what he done with the bellew fight,he tried to bypass eddie hearn and go through Barney Francis and Adam Smith and the answer was, eddie has to be Involved and then you saw him launch one on eddie in the press confrence.
I called it last time around that the first fight between Parker & Fury would be cancelled. The signs were there. The signs are there again but surely the Fury's can't afford to pull out again, emphasis on again. He will never be able to sell a dozen tickets again nevermind several hundred. No chance Bellew steps in, unless it was pushed back to the end of the year so Bellew can get in camp and more importantly, Hearn can have the time to work his magic.
The Fury Parker fight has been confirmed it's on ITV box office. I would say for box office the undercard should be much stronger than it is, if Eddie Hearn had a PPV with Joe Murray v Matty ***an as chief support he would get slaughtered.
If it is on ITV box office it will flop, judging by the PPV's on ITV so far, I'd question who advises them in regards to boxing.
Peter Fury has confirmed its on ITV box Office. I agree with you regarding ITV, take the Murray v ***an fight that at the moment is a top of the bill at a local leisure centre type fight, certainly not Chief support on a PPV. I would say the main event is more of a main event than anything on ITV so far but undercard far the worst they have had.
