Loma vs Rigo at 130 = stupid fight, Loma-Mikey still possible Loma vs Rigo at 126 = fantastic fight, but it makes Loma-Mikey far less likely (a win at this weight would be a greater win, though). Loma won't accept 126 anymore, he has gotten bigger too over the last few years Loma vs Salido 2 = Avenge loss for casuals but won't necessarily look brilliant in that fight + deal with backlash from casual fans crying about Rigo It appears to me that Loma would rather unify vs Berchelt, Corrales and Salido than move up to face any of the guys at 135, if he had the choice.
Better late than never, I suppose. I wouldn't mind seeing it. It would almost certainly be at 130 lb, Rigo already indicated that he would be willing to move up, although I suspect he wants over a million so the fight won't get made. 128 lb could be a possibile compromise; no way is Loma going back down to 126.
I'd like to see it. Rigondeaux might be a tad too boring for my taste but he's got some serious skills. Probably he'd end up being clowned like a few others but this should be an entertaining fight non the less.
Move up and take the fight and get the azz whooping you beg for lol Actually tbh, judging by how skilful Rigo is, there is a small chance he can clown Loma ala Whitaker-Oscar and make him look less stellar. But eventually Loma youth, size and strength will win him the fight.
It's going to be money that holds up the fight. Rigo wants over a million, I don't think Arum will over anything more than $750k max, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if he stopped at $500k.
Yeah. That sounds plausible. Both guys can claim the other ducked, their respective fans will argue on their behalf and neither ever has to take the risk. Lol, I'm getting cynical.
I really don't get caught up in the negotiations between fighter. Mainly because we are not in the room when talks are takimg place. 95% of the time the big fights get made. This fight will m0re than likely get made and it will be a fight contested on the highest level.
I really try not to get caught up in a fighters purse, however, why is it that Arum routinely underpays potential Lomachenko opponents?
