No shame in losing to Wright either, dude's only legit loses were his first against Vasquez which was still close despite 5 knockdowns, and when he was past his best days against Hopkins, Williams & Quillin. Winky beat Graham, Vargas & Taylor and didn't get the nod. Dude was severely underappreciated and elite of the elite in his time from 154 to 160.

I just hope he's alright. He's been in a lot of wars. He should have never gotten in the ring with Canelo. He should have hung it up after Mayweather to be honest.

Mosley relied on his athletic ability. Easy to see why he started losing in advanced age.

Mosley is not overrated or underrated. People just like to create chaos, and many times are borderline stupid, ignorant or blind.

Shane was very talented.. Great fighter.. PED stories tainted his career as well as Father time really took a toll on him and quick.. It happened quickly for him I do not think he aged well as a boxer..I will never forget the destruction of Margarito though.. He did what no one else had done and completely fd him up.

A beast at lightweight. Declined rapidly in his mid 30s. Ped user. Very good hall of fame career.

Shane's beatdown of Margarito will always be a classic.

Who wins that one? I go with Mosley. I think he'd weather the storm and win a decision or late stoppage. His chin is too good. Brawling with Shane isn't a good idea.

The thing with Pryor is he was unstoppable, until cocaine took over. And he could box if he realised Mosley was hitting too hard for his onslaughts

Mosely was a PROVEN .Self Confessed PED's abuser, after BALCO provided signed receipts for PEDs & he had to come clean, He claimed to have passed a polygraph test proving his innocence
earlier LOL He was obviously juiced against Margarito too

Well the Margarito fight was his last great performance and he was no where near close to his prime. Even when he faced Cotto he was past his prime and Cotto had to have his best performance just to edge an older Mosley. When Oscar outboxed him in the rematch it was clear Mosley never polished his skills especially in defense he never progressed and Oscar did, but somehow Mosley still got the victory. What a fighter does past his prime should never count against them IMO. Idc if they lose 20 fights consecutively if they are shot or past it and become springboards for B-C level fighters afterwards that wouldn't last 5 rounds with them. Mosley fought EVERYONE. Oscar, Mosley, Forrest, Tito, Quartey, Vargas, Lopez, and Winky were some great talent and would had easily beaten any current fighter 147-154. EASY.

So what? Vernon Forrest was pretty good.

Mosely did a lot more than just lose to Forrest. He had one of the best careers in recent memory.

You brushed over it and it's a big deal.

He had maybe a top 10-15 career of the past twenty years. That's pretty good.
