Smith can't fight, but is strong and has power. Indongo can't fight, does not have any power, is not strong, is slower than a turtle, Crawford is not a turtle........................so Indongo has zero chance to land a punch, not even one punch and to add to all that, Crawford is the house fighter, which means he owns the referee, judges, boxing commission, etc., so Indongo should just give up his titles and take the money without even fighting, fighting is a waste of time, esp. you are fighting the house fighter. Marsa Bob Arum will make sure Crawford wins, but Crawford does not need any help at all...............

Don't see it. Barrera has decent skills, but he starts slow, which would be suicide against Adonis. Shabranski almost did Barrera in, but Barrera survived and took Shabransky out. Ward also proved how limited Barrera is at the elite level. Barrera was absolutely no competition for Ward and Ward was inactive and out of shape. I see Adonis stopping Barrera.

I don't see it either, Barrera is a high-level contender, Stevenson a well-avoided word champ. Ward could have had Stevenson at 168 or 175, he chose Kovey. So did Hopkins.

Unless Stevenson suddenly shows his age he would indeed beat Barrera, Barrera is too slow and doesn't have a good chin.

Still, I don't see Stevenson as an avoided champion at all. I would have given him the benefit of the doubt there, but he is fighting / trying to fight such awful opposition recently: Fonfara rematch, Monaghan, Karpency, Sukhotskiy, old Bika coming of a loss, and Williams Jr. This forces one to question his desire to test himself against the best. I'm sure he can get better opponents than that lot regardless of who else might not want to face him.

Actually Kov was the higher profile fighter and taunted as this indestructible warrior while Stevenson was living off
his knockout of Dawson. He thought that he saw a weakness in Ward after the first fight with Kov and called him out but he hasn't said squat after the rematch. Hopkins just underestimated Kov and age was starting to have a real effect on his abilities as a fighter.

How many good opponents are there at lightweight, if Kovey, Ward and Hopkins didn't want the fight?

Indongo is a much trickier guy to deal with than Joe Smith. Can't see him beating Crawford, but he's a very good fighter.

Beterbiev, Gvozdyk, Smith Jr, Barrera, Alvarez, even Pascal at one point...

It's a stacked division. I wouldn't complain about one, two or three out of that list I posted previously. But such a long run of mediocre opponents inevitably leads to the conclusion that Stevenson doesn't care about the quality of his resume since he fighting Fonfara the first time.

Good one. I don't think I over-estimated Indongo by praising him- I think I underestimated Crawford, at least in terms of his ability to get started a lot sooner than expected. Normally, he takes his time figuring his foe out.

I also thought it would take a bit longer.

    So, we learned that:
    - Crawford can start fast.
    - He outclassed Indongo more easily than most expected.
    - Indongo walked into counters all night long, which wasn't very long!
    - Indongo can't take much punishment.

Did not surprise me at all. Indongo is slower than a turtle, is off balance, has wide punches, fights like Wilder, looks as if he just came in off the street without any training, not even one boxing lesson! That fight was a total disgrace to boxing, but Indongo fight was a set-up to make Crawford look good. Crawford will have to move up to 147, but Thurman would knock him out, Porter would be a total nightmare for him, Spence would be his easiest opponent........................
