And the other thing he says is that HE CHOSE boxing??? Again on 24/7 he said that boxing was FORCED on him. Very complexed individual, money changes everything :-(

Who knows with Floyd....sometimes he comes off as a nice guy playing the "mean role" for the $$$, and sometimes he makes absolutely no sense and comes off as a completely idiotic *****. I have just come to the conclusion that he is insane

Floyd would be so much bigger if he didn't play the bad guy. He once said there had to be a villain as if boxing is pro wrestling or something. He's wrong.

    THx mate, interesting interview...

Guys, you gotta understand that Floyd is an entertainer and a with a perfect television attitude: he'll do and say ANYTHING that creates controversy, attention, larger audience and therefore more money... It's not a secret that Mayweather loves what he's doing: he likes to be the bad boy, the trash-talker, the disrespectful one, the controversial figure, but don't believe what the TV shows - Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the star of his own reality show, but you must understand that reality shows are scripted as any other TV shows, just written so well that it gives the taste of reality...

Yes, he might hate his dad, he might think he's gangsta, he might be a real ******* - but what he really thinks and what's his real relationship with his family is irrelevant - all the TV cares is to create controversy and Floyd plays his part flawlessly... in fact, the sad side of the story is that both Roger and Floyd Sr. are dumb and Jeff is emotional enough not to see they are part of the Floyd Mayweather reality show... I believe they really say what they feel while Mayweather says what he's supposed to say in front of the cameras.

But friends of mine say that Floyd is totally respectful in his private live, with the fans, with his family, he thinks very positive and he's in total control of his live - only his job is entertain first, fight second and destroy his family's reputation for the sake of TV entertainment... :-(

i read an interview last year with jeff mayweather where he says that Sr. and Jr. call each other up everyday. i think the whole feud is just played up for them to get more press.

You're taking it way to serious man.

He was still a kid when he said this.
During 24/7 he was just hyping things up with probably a few lies here and there, no big deal.
Nobody knows what going on in his mind except he himself.

This is my opinion on this.

This is my opinion of Floyd. Floyd and Leonard probably sat down one day and planned out how to handle his career. They thought that Floyd should play the bad guy couse there realy aren't a lot of them in boxing, most of them are all good guys and we all know that Good guy vs. Bad guy sells the best hence the ghetto attitude. Sr. and Jr. do have some problems i believe but they both probably make it sound a lot worse than it is in reality, in order to make headline news, keep the spotligh on them. Floyd needs storylines outside the ring couse fans these days don't appreciate the sweet science of boxing, the want to see two guys swinging like mad men till one of them falls, Floyd isn't like that, Floyd hasn't got to fight like that couse he has superb boxing skills. All of the brawlers are punch drunk after their careers, sure they have the respect but do you think they like how their lives are now. Their kids don't recognize what daddy is saying and etc.

I just feel like Floyds career is all perfectly planned out.
