You're right, hardly any of today's up and coming fighters have real punching power. In the lower weights at least pure punching power is somewhat becoming a gift of the past.

Frankel is tough but he is eating lost of clean shots.

Reid is actually rather poor, Frankel can't punch yet as soon as he throws a few shots Reid goes backwards in a straight line, gives up ground far too easy and hasn't once spun/pivoted off and countered on the angle.

For a man in his 23rd professional fight I expect a little more ring craft.

Sky commentator pretty much nailed it to be fair, said Reid has been in too many easy fights.

I agree, Reid looks like he is a product of poor matchmaking, he has had it too easy for too long and hasn't really learnt much or developed quickly enough.

Ref calls time just as Reid finally looked like he might be putting something together to get this guy out of here. He still wasn't gonna stop him, nonetheless.

Considering the hype he's received from certain sources, I would honestly be a little bit disappointed in myself if I was Reed.

Very underwhelming performance by Mike "Fat Back Titty Slap" Reid.

Definitely, really poor in my opinion, I know he won every round and it seems harsh to say he was really poor but the opponent didn't offer anything and Reid couldn't shift him and in the end looked very predictable and basic.
