I kinda agree with you for the most part bro...
except I think Kelly should stay away from "Winky".
But Overall I really can't see any of them hanging in there with how impressive Pavlik has looked latley...
but anything can happen. (We can all be wrong this weekend)

If anything, a guy like Sturm is far more likely to go the distance.

 

I'm actually starting to slightly favor Abraham

 

Pavlik/Abraham is the toss-up imo. With Abrahams power he has the possibility of putting Pavlik to the canvas. I would go 60% to Pavlik and 40% to Abraham in that fight. If it goes the distance Pavlik takes it on points as far as I see it.
As for Pavlik/Wright I have to give it to Pavlik right now, simply because we don't know what kind of shape Winky is in these days with his inactivity. A 100% motivated Winky has the chance of making it a very close fight when it goes to the cards.
Otherwise I see the other 8 challengers getting KO'd, with Sturm possibly making it the distance

 

PS - Pavlik ends Duddys career. If your a fan of Duddy you should pray that he never gets in the ring with Pavlik

 

It depends on whether Abraham is willing to abandon his slow openings. If he takes 3-4 rounds off or waits til the final 20 seconds to try and do anything, Pavlik will win the fight easily. If he brings the fight to Pavlik, he'll have a substantially better chance. I'd still favor Kelly easily.

And yes, Pavlik ends Duddy's career.

 

I thought about a Pavlik/Sturm fight.. He could take Pavlik all 12 rounds, but I really don't see him getting KO'd all the clear either.. That's why I put a TKO in the late rounds like a corner stoppage or the ref stopping the fight when Sturm can't fight back against an unloading Pavlik when he's tired and caught on the ropes... Something like that..

Pavlik KO7 Abraham in fight that is not even close. Styles make fights and Pavlik is Arthur's worst nightmare. I'm not hating on Abraham. It's just that any logical analysis leads to Arthur taking a beating on the way to a highlight reel KO.

I think Arthur's punching power is somewhat over-rated. He has made short work of many "C" and "D" level fighters, but Eastman, Jantuah, and Miranda took him the full 12.

Pavlik, on the other hand, has the better resume', and he has only been past 9 rounds 1 time. Pavlik's last 6 opponents all got KTFO. Yes JT made the distance in the second fight, but we all saw what happened in the first. Out of those 6 opponents 5 had never been stopped before they got pavlikated!

Pavlik is a better puncher than Abraham. He's a better boxer. He has better stamina. He is WAY bigger than Abraham. Arthur throws 30 punches a round. Pavlik shoots for 100 punches per round and sometimes makes that mark. Arthur spends loads of time laying on the ropes, or in the corner. MAN that is right where Pavlik wants him! Styles make fights. Abraham would have to change pretty much everything he does in the ring to beat Pavlik. Kelly forces opponnents to fight every second of every round. If you try to lay on the ropes or hide in the corner, you're dead meat.

 

I'm not goin to lie, it dosent fill me with joy the thought of john getting in there with pavlik, but lets not be too haarsh on john, he's got a great chin and with pat burns on board he's got a good oppportunity of greatlyimpoirving his non existant defence. I see Duddy goin the distance with Pavlik nonetheless, but hopefully his title fight will be with Lockett and not Pavlik! Come on Lockett!!!!
