Don't get me wrong, I don't want McGregor's health to get affected, but I want Floyd to put on a show.

McGregor is probably one of the most unlikable people in the sport. McGregor takes disrespect to another level.

Mayweather has far better everthing. The thing is, Floyd can switch back and forth too. He's done it. Floyd is mad, but he's concentrated and ready.

    I think Floyd by KO.

Same here. Although 40 it would be good to see him put on a good beating on Mac regardless if he is not versed in boxing particularly. Floyd has transcended the sport and it's funny watching people hate on this fight when they help create the hypejobs Floyd gets rich off of. This isn't ruining boxing at all.

    It's entertainment. Simple as that.

Richard Dwyer gives us one more to conclude his superb series of videos illustrating why Floyd will KNOCK OUT McGregor tomorrow. I'm sure with him, and I'm feeling like a kid the night before Christmas $$$.

Nothing collapses from one event no matter how big

The USA has not collapsed since Trump won, and the UK has not collapsed since Brexit. Two events that 99% of the media predicted would cause a collapse in both countries.

The reputation of boxing will be slightly hurt with casuals. However no one currently following boxing is going to tap out because of this. There will also be another MMA vs Boxer fight in boxing if May loses to cash in again and to salvage boxings reputation.

On the meta level analysis, yes western civilization is already dead...we are moving towards a global government and we are moving towards some dark times. However, fighting skills will become more relevant than ever in such a scenario. Boxings popularity will only go up then.

I think Floyd takes this. But I was particularly impressed with how McGregor fought the first few rounds in the second Nate Diaz fight. He showed real improvement and just boxed what was in front of him, and picked his shots. It was almost like he had been watching a bunch of Mayweather tapes. I think McGregor is vastly underrated and would handle quite a few top level boxers. It's just Mayweather is too good, too much experience, one of the best ever.

Though this is a farce, Floyd is carrying our banner. If he wins by KO, he'll have given due props to the community that made him. If not, he deserves nothing but our contempt.

Conor in serious danger of leaving the ring with brain damage tonight if he is not careful.

This is why Floyd said it's going to be his last fight.

I just want this spectacle to be over. Finished - done with. It will be the end of Floyds career as well - which is a good thing because he pisses me off. Sick of his antics. McGregor is worse - but he is from MMA (which is closer to WWE than boxing - entertainment wise). Floyd should take this fight as he likes. I would be surprised if McGregor even lands on him. I doubt he will even land a blow - unless Floyd lets him. It is such a mismatch. So happy that I won't have to see Floyd or Conor in a boxing ring again. Although, I do enjoy watching Floyd fight - could do without his antics outside of the ring. Sick of his attitude.

Mayweather stops him in the 6th round imo. McGregor at this weight and below has never gone past the 2nd round in the UFC and his cardio in the Diaz fights at a much higher weight didn't seem good at all, gassing in both fights. Diaz keeps a high pace but he's not overpowering guys with his strength or anything, so fighting a heavier opponent was not the reason for gassing. He'll gas and start getting lit up from the 3rd when Mayweather figures him out and walks him down and starts landing straight rights at will and jabs to the body. I wouldn't be surprised if McGregor fouls enough in an attempt to quit via disqualification.

Oscar De La Hoya has always been jealous of Mayweather's success and ability, from even before they fought. And he's not the most stable guy in the world. Anyone else remember the TMZ video of a drunken Oscar last year saying McGregor should come into boxing and fight Canelo? I would like the guy if he wasn't such a mess. I still don't dislike him, more just feel a bit bad for him.
